FW Europeans summary

Third year in a row Latvia we have a major FW event and third year in a row I can say that the event was really successful. This year we had 15 races overall - the maximum.
The organisation was really nice. We had a huge tent on the beach where we could hide from rain showers, chill on sitting bags or leave the equipment. We also had lunch provided, although the portions were really small (had to eat 3 to be half full :) , and the quality of the food wasn't always perfect.

The place itself is superb as well. Back at the car parking just across the dunes we had endless amount of nice grass to rig our sails on. The beach is sandy and is more than 70 kilometers long (from Liepaja to Klaipeda in Lithuania). However, for beginners and intermediate sailors sometimes it might be hard to cross the shorebreak

Non windsurfing part
The girls in all Baltic Countries are awesome ( I would say in Lithuania they are the best, but ...whatever). In Liepaja there are really lot of nice girls waiting for a chance to meet windsurfers (they especially like French guys). Like Arnon Dagan said during the closing ceremony "Liepaja is city were the girls are born"

The parties
Parties here are just amazing. I guess you heard rumors about the Coyote Fly? Well the club has changed its name to Ego Club, but it is still amazing. Both Saturdays we had Bunga Bunga parties. On the first one we still had a competition coming up on Sunday (Baltic Cup) but a lot of the guys were going out and having till the morning. The rumors about the party have spread all around. So before next Saturday you could see people running around and asking each other " Are you going to Bunga Bunga" and the answer was always "hell yeah!!!"
